COVEN is a CA nonprofit (501c3 status pending). Our ecosystem model enables artists through pipeline, infrastructure, capital, and platforms. Your contribution funds staffing and partnerships for an artist-in-residence program to source talent and produce art, capacity-building programs to support artists as they build their business, and placemaking to get BIG art out into public spaces. Min contribution by check, wire transfer, ACH, online donation, or DAF grant is $1,000 (see Donation Instructions).

COVEN wants to ensure that artists always have a place to build and share their big art. Our first physical infrastructure project is Third Place SF, in partnership with The Box Shop, San Francisco’s last industrial art maker-space, home to 120 artists and owned by Elder Tree Artist Charlie Gadeken and Flaming Lotus Girls co-founder Pouneh Mortazavi. Your contribution helps us anchor the $3M Save The Box Shop Campaign to support property acquisition and buildout costs for the new home. Min SPV subscription is $25,000.

From Burning Man and corporate parks to local and global Third Places, we find the sidelined voices of emerging artists who greatly need our collective support through fiscal sponsorship, introductions, and community activations. Donate directly to the artists collectively raising $220K to bring 4 meaningful projects to life: Erin Douglas, Greg Holmes, Jen Reed, and Peyton Scott Russell.
